DELTA®-DRAIN 6200 HI-X features a linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) sheet adhered to the cup side of the dimples. The protection sheet prevents viscous flow and die cutting of soft liquid or sheet-applied waterproofing membranes.
Features
- 3-Layer drainage composite
- Consists of a dimpled drainage core, a high-strength, needle punched, non-woven polypropylene geotextile, and a polymeric protection sheet adhered to the back side of the drainage core
- Outstanding compressive strength and high water flow rate characterize this commercial grade drainboard
- Specifically designed for use over waterproofing membranes, the high-strength polymeric film adhered to the back side of the drainage core prevents potential die cutting into the waterproofing membrane
- Non-woven, needle-punched geotextile prevents the passage of soil particles but allows water to pass freely, ensuring that the drainage core will not get clogged
- Core provides a continuous path for water discharge, eliminating the potential for build-up of hydrostatic pressure
- Geotextile is fully bonded to the drainage core, which prevents it from being pushed into the flow channels by the load from adjacent back-fill material
- Extremely high compressive strength (> 15,000 psf) – can be used at installation depths of 45 ft. and more
- One of the only drainboards on today’s market made out of a special copolymer polypropylene, which is dramatically stronger than polystyrene imitators, resisting jobsite damage and rough handling
- Unaffected by environmental stress cracking
